Out of Assiyah don't hold it...your howls will send me out of Assiyah, will send me out of Assiyah I am silent as I'm slipping away I want to stay I want to say I still love you don't hold it in...your howls will send me out of Assiyah, will send me out of Assiyah now hovering round the body that I was I touch her face as I never have before and I kiss my own lips and her face goes all peaceful don't hold it in, I can already see the morning of your rejoicing and outside of time we move like birds don't hold it in, your howls will send me out of Assiyah, will send me out of Assiyah (Death) Vilon Pull back the veil of memory pull back the curtain of night and day pull back the curtain of Vilon and we swore we'd remember this time (I look down at my hands but there's nothing there, all that's left of me is love and memory. I place these between us as an offering) and we swore we'd remember this time Rakia Follow her follow the lady down the long hallway to the musicbox wall doors and keys to the holy of the holies hidden behind our own hearts Kadosh Kadosh Kadosh and with a thought I see the planets dance in Rakia Shechakim Ahava Zevul Mashiach Maon I dreamed of a white house and I painted it blue I sat myself inside of it and I waited there for you bless us no, bless me I flew over our empty house and I watered it with tears turrets grew like moon bamboo to the sky, blind I groped for your smell bless us no, bless me I didn't know I was alone until you appeared at my second birth now it's like a hunger I want to touch and I know who moves my hands bless us no, bless me I want to drink the smell of burning leaves I want to slide fall naked down a dew drench hill, wet, I want to be seen don't only kiss me with your eyes I want to go to her with you I'm kicking symphonies in the sound of dead leaves I'm licking forests from the top I'm weaving baskets of longing baskets of longing that are empty Machon Hyptontized by the dance of this sword of fire like I'm on the edge I'm high and the angels say "Dive. Truth waits on the other side" and the sky's on the ground I'm standing on the sun is this hell I'm in but the angels say heaven spinning to the dance of this sword of fire snow is kissing the ground is the sky I don't want to let go, but the angels say "Wash in the purifying fire. Was yourself away in the purifying fire be a lick of flame in the purifying fire be brave dear one. Be brave dear one." Hypnotized by the dance of this sword of fire like I'm on the edge and the angels say "Dive" and the angels say "Die. Truth waits on the other side" When we left Eygpt we moved as birds. Dare to be that free again. Dare to lose yourself in the One. Shema Yisrael Adonoi Elohaynu Adonai Echad Aravot the birthing and housing place of souls Birth

about

A death meditation, through 7 Heavens briefly described in the Talmud. Follows the soul's journey through dying, death, and ascent and purification through the levels, each respresenting different aspects of the dissolution of the ego and the revelation of essence, ending/beginning in rebirth. Out of Assiyah, out of this world, letting go of loved ones and getting ready to leave the body. A terrifying death scene ensues as the senses depart and the unreality of seperation from the body takes place in a jumble of memories and vain attempts to stay with familiar identity and contact still living loved ones. (one) Vilon is the curtain between night and day, the entry point into the next worlds. After life. (two) Rakia, the space for celestial bodies, meeting with our true nature, the vast innerspace that fills us with potent possibility for expansion and new life. (three) Shechakim: the place where Manna is ground. Love's discovery. (four) Zevul: Celestial Jerusalem, incubation zone for the Messiah/Mashiach point in all, waiting to take form in formless revealation of a new level of consciousness. (five) Maon: a place where angels sing at night and are silent during the day. (six) Machon: snow, storms, and a sword of fire. (seven) Aravot:: birthing and housing place of souls. BIRTH.

Tziona Achishena

Tziona Achishena creates music that flows through her heart, layering voices, piano, flutes, cellos, harmonium, frame drums, in hopes of getting the sound and feel she seeks. She creates music intuitively, by ear. Tziona sings her original lyrics, as well as biblical passages, and occasionally, channels dead poets. She periodically reinvents herself, primarily through improvisation. ... more
